Each Monday morning, Marcello would ride this Vespa to work in the pure white marble quarry in Massa Carrara. And each Saturday, he would ride it back home to his family in Ponsacco, in the province of Pisa. He is the sole previous owner of this Gran Turismo. A total of 45,800 Gran Turismo Vespas were manufactured from 1966 to 1971. Of these, 10,800 were produced in 1968. |
